After seeing a good run of price drops across just about all of the brand new M4 MacBook Pro models, just about everything either went out of stock at Amazon or jumped back up in price after Black Friday and has remained as such ever since. Today, however, both Amazon and Best Buy are giving folks another chance at scoring as much as $200 off the list prices on select M4 and M4 Pro MacBook Pro configurations, with as much as $300 in savings on M4 Max.
Firstly Amazon has elevated 14-inch M4 MacBook Pro with 24GB of RAM and a 1TB SSD at $1,799 shipped. This is a regularly $1,999 configuration seeing a straight up $200 price drop to land back at the official Black Friday pricing and the lowest we have tracked. Just note, Amazon is not shipping this deal in time for Christmas delivery at the time of writing.
Another, and perhaps even better option depending on what you’re after, for the same price is Best Buy’s listing on the 14-inch M4 Pro MacBook Pro with 24GB of RAM and a 512GB SSD at $1,799 shipped. This is half the storage, but you get the faster and more powerful M4 Pro chip. Regularly $1,999, this one is also $200 off the going rate and matched over at Amazon (“arrives after Christmas”), but we did see this configuration for $50 less for Black Friday.
You will also find the base model 16GB/512GB M4 MacBook Pro marked down from the regular $1,599 to $1,449 shipped. This $150 price drop is indeed the lowest straight up cash deal we can find right now, but it is $50 above the Black Friday deal we featured.
Whichever model catches your eye, there are a couple things to take note of here. Firstly, shipping times at Amazon are mostly listed as “May arrive after Christmas” – if you’re looking to get one under the tree, Best Buy might be your best bet right now. And secondly, while only a few configurations are matching the all-time lows, there is still hundreds in savings across the lineup today and Best Buy Plus and Total members will see some bonus savings on select higher-end configurations, but prices are mostly matched at both retailers otherwise.
