Apple’s new black USB-C Magic Mouse hits $80 all-time low for Black Friday Week (Reg. $99)

Reg. $99 $80
Black Apple Magic Mouse USB-C

As part of Amazon’s Black Friday Week Deals, we are now tracking the first deal and the lowest price yet on Apple’s new black Magic Mouse with USB-C. Apple finally upgraded its Magic peripherals with USB-C, much like it did on the now discounted AirPods Max, finally doing away with the Lightning connector for charging. This move came alongside the introduction of the new M4 iMac and its USB-C peripherals, but you can now score the all-new USB-C black Magic Mouse down at $79.99 shipped from the usual $99 list price – that’s a nearly 20% in savings.

Just keep in mind, Apple’s black Magic Mouse naturally comes at a premium, much like it did before the move to USB-C. You can regularly score the white USB-C Magic Mouse at $79.

We have finally seen the end of Lightning connectors on Apple’s Magic Keyboard, Magic Mouse, and Trackpad. As detailed over on 9to5Mac, Apple has been shipping MacBooks with USB-C ports for years, the iPad lineup carries one, and the last two generations of iPhone have also permanently done away with Apple’s proprietary power and data connection standard.

Outside of the USB-C connector, the updated Magic Mouse is very much what we already know and love (outside of the charging cable being on the bottom of the mouse, of course). It features the multi-touch top surface – an absolute must-have for me personally – as well as the automatic pairing with Mac.

However, if you are looking to add the discounted black Magic Mouse to your setup while it’s sitting down at its Black Friday Week price – deals on Apple’s Magic peripherals don’t come around all that often historically speaking, you will want to scope out our recent PSA. It seems as though you’ll want to make sure your Mac is updated before connecting the new USB-C Magic Mouse and keyboard to your system, despite Apple’s website claiming they work with OS X 10.11 or later. All of the details are right here.

Apple Magic Mouse USB-C features:

  • Magic Mouse is wireless and rechargeable, with an optimised foot design that lets it glide smoothly across your desk.
  • The Multi-Touch surface allows you to perform simple gestures such as swiping between web pages and scrolling through documents.
  • The rechargeable battery will power your Magic Mouse for about a month or more between charges.
  • It’s ready to go straight out of the box and pairs automatically with your Mac, and it includes a woven USB-C Charge Cable that lets you pair and charge by connecting to a USB-C port on your Mac.
