We wait all year for the official Nintendo Black Friday deals and today is the day they go live. While we already saw the eShop Black Friday sale drop alongside a host of big deals on physical games, today we are getting the best price of the year on the Nintendo Switch OLED console as retailers like Best Buy, Target, and potentially Amazon deliver a sizable price drop on the official holiday bundle. These deals are now live at Best Buy and Target, with price matches expected to hit Amazon and Walmart at either some point today or later this week.
Nintendo Switch OLED holiday bundle now up to $155 off for Black Friday
As we detailed previously as part of our Black Friday PSA feature pieces, despite the fact that the official 2024 Nintendo Switch holiday console bundles have been up for sale for quite sometime, the deals on them are now live for Black Friday. Considering they already pack in $80 in savings by way of the bundled in Mario Kart 8 Deluxe (worth $60) and the 12-month individual Switch Online membership, we didn’t want folks to jump on them until the deals went live, and they have now arrived.
***Note: These deals start on November 24, 2024 as early as 1 a.m. ET.
- Nintendo Switch with red/blue Joy-Con $225 (Up to $155 in savings)
- At Best Buy and Target
- Plus Mario Kart 8 and 12-month Switch Online membership
- Nintendo Switch – OLED Model with white Joy-Con $275 (Up to $155 in savings)
- At Best Buy and Target
- Plus Mario Kart 8 and 12-month Switch Online membership
While at one point is seemed as though Target was going to be the first out of the gate with the additional $75 off on top of the bonus add-ons (for a total of $155 in savings), we learned early last week that Best Buy would also be getting in on the action as well. As part of its weekly doorbusters, that happen to include the best deal ever on the black Apple Watch Ultra 2 alongside major discounts on Therabody Theragun massagers, smart TVs, JBL audio gear, and more, it has decided to add the Nintendo Switch holiday console offers into the mix before the weekly doorbuster sale ends at midnight tonight – it is unclear whether or not the Nintendo Switch offers will also end at that time, but you might not want to stick around to find out.
Considering both Best Buy and Target tend to flip out with new deals every morning at 1 a.m. ET, they tend to be the first chance to score the offers on the internet at this time of year, and are once again today for the Black Friday Nintendo Switch OLED offer.
It is hard to imagine Amazon not price matching this deal at some point, be it today or later this week to give folks another shot at the discount – we will update this post accordingly for those looking to score one there instead.
