While we are still waiting for Segway to launch its official Black Friday sale, we’re getting an unexpected steal of a deal on its Ninebot S2 Smart Self-Balancing Scooter for $449.99 shipped. This newer model of self-balancing scooters would normally cost you $550 at full price here and $600 direct from Segway since tariffs over the summer raised costs by $100 back in June. One of the models that rarely see discounts, we last saw this same low price when it first launched in January, which hasn’t been seen in the months since, until today’s surprise discount. The 335Wh battery gives you 21.7 miles of travel distance for every 4.5 hours of charging, with plenty enough torque to tackle 15-degree slopes. It has rugged 10-inch off-road tubeless pneumatic tires for better stability, durability, and “superior traction on any surface.”

It sports an adjustable design, accommodating riders that range from 4-foot-three inches to six-foot-six inches, while also being able to carry up to 220 pounds of weight in all. Two notable features of this second-generation model are the built-in Bluetooth speaker that allows you to listen to your favorite tunes, as well as the wheels and taillights that offer fully customizable RGB ambient lighting to reflect your personality while also providing better visibility in low-light conditions.
