The details on the upcoming Thanksgiving sales are rolling in fast now and we now have the details on the Target Black Friday event. It, much like we have seen in year’s past and some of the big-time 2024 sale events, will be running a series of month-long deals starting this Friday, November 1 and running right through until Thanksgiving and Black Friday proper before continuing on to Cyber Monday and into the pre-holiday season come December. Target is once again going to be extremely aggressive with retroactive price matching to ensure you score the lowest possible price no matter when you might purchase the item alongside a revolving door of deals kicking off this week. Target 2024 Black Friday event
When will the Target Black Friday sale begin this year? Well it appears it is bringing back its daily deals starting on November 1 with up to 50% off for Target Circle members (free to join) before kicking up a series of week-long deals starting on November 3. It will then transition over to its “Early Black Friday Sale” with a 3-day event that runs from November 7 through to November 9 before the prime-time sale goes live on Thanksgiving and runs through the weekend.

Target Black Friday price match program
This year Target will once again be running its particularly aggressive price matching campaign. The retailers Holiday Price Match Guarantee will start on November 7 and run right through until Christmas Eve 2024. This effectively means that if an item’s price goes lower at Target later in the season, after you have made your purchase, Target will price-match it. It will even “match select competitors’ pricing” within 14 days of purchase – there are no additional details on exactly which competitors it is referring to at this time.
What will be on sale for Black Friday at Target?
As I’m sure you can imagine, Target will have deals on everything from Apple tech and LEGO to apparel, toys, Dyson gear, and much more. We are told it will be highlighting its exclusive brands, including Wondershop, Good & Gather, Threshold and Cat & Jack, alongside LEGO, Barbie, Dyson and Shark.
