Apple’s official black Magic Mouse is now down at $85 shipped via Amazon

official black Apple Magic Mouse

Amazon has now dropped the official black Apple Magic Mouse down to $84.99 shipped. Regularly $99, this is 14% off the price you’ll pay at Apple and the lowest we can find. We did see a very limited-time drop to $80 during the summer Prime Day event that didn’t even last the full 48 hours, but today’s offer is otherwise on par with the 2024 Amazon low.

Will Apple ever update its main Mac peripherals to USB-C? Well it has to by the end of this year to comply with European regulations, as we have reported previously, but considering how slight deals have been on the first-party Mac mouse and keyboard in black, it might be a long while before we see price drops on the new set.

If you’re looking to move your desktop setup over to Apple’s black treatment, today’s deal might be worth consideration. While the matching Magic Keyboard is down at $179 shipped right now, it has been $10 and $20 lower this year.

The black Magic Mouse is the same gesture-based experience many of us know and love – it’s an absolute must-have for me – just with a combination silver and black paint job. As of right now, it also ships with a nice black woven USB-C to Lightning cable.

Apple Magic Mouse features:

Magic Mouse is wireless and rechargeable, with an optimized foot design that lets it glide smoothly across your desk. The Multi-Touch surface allows you to perform simple gestures such as swiping between web pages and scrolling through documents.

The rechargeable battery will power your Magic Mouse for about a month or more between charges. It’s ready to go right out of the box and pairs automatically with your Mac, and it includes a woven USB-C to Lightning Cable that lets you pair and charge by connecting to a USB-C port on your Mac.
