Just after taking a look at its new leather iPhone 16 cases and its black titanium Apple Watch Ultra 2 band, SANDMARC is back again today with an even more robust and high-end bracelet for your Apple wearable. The brand makes what I consider to be among the most gorgeous titanium bracelet-style bands for Apple Watch Ultra, that includes both the natural titanium and the new black treatment, and it has now released its most robust model to date with the new Grade 5 Titanium Edition – Apple Watch Ultra Band. Plus, we have an exclusive deal for 9to5 readers when you apply code gadgetnewsonline at checkout.
SANDMARC Titanium Edition – Apple Watch Ultra Band graduates to Grade 5
The new SANDMARC Grade 5 titanium band is very much like what we have seen from the brand’s other wonderful metal bracelet straps for Apple Watch. It comes in both natural and black colorways to match your Ultra 2 and now in an ever higher-end and more rugged, corrosion-resistant material alongside the DLC we saw the brand upgrade the other models with earlier this year. The Grade 5 titanium being used here is the same grade Apple uses for the watch – not something we see very often from other brands that make titanium bracelets like this.
Features at a glance:
- Grade 5 boasts superior fatigue, corrosion, and creep resistance
- Perfect match for the new Apple Watch Ultra Grade 5 Titanium
- Incorporates premium screw pins for seamless resizing
- Diamond-Like Carbon (DLC) coating prevents fading and peeling
And here’s some more details from the brand on the Grade 5 treatment:
Our Grade 5 titanium offers exceptional strength and enduring resilience. Grade 5 boasts superior fatigue, corrosion, and creep resistance. It also withstands a wide range of environments, including saltwater, enabling you to take your Apple Watch Ultra into the most extreme conditions.
As with all of our titanium products, the Grade 5 band underwent independent chemical analysis testing by a California-based third-party lab (UNS R56400) to ensure it withstands the same demanding conditions that the Apple Watch Ultra is designed for.
The new Grade 5 SANDMARC Titanium Edition – Apple Watch Ultra Band carries a $349.99 MSRP that will drop down to $314.99 shipped when you apple code gadgetnewsonline at checkout.
And if that’s a bit much for your needs, read on because the Grade 2 and 4 models as well as the stainless steel variants starting at $116.99 (with our code above) are still quite fantastic. They are available for the Series 9 and 10 as well.
As I alluded to above, I am, to say the least a big fan of the SANDMARC titanium Apple Watch bands – I’m wearing one right now on the new Natural Titanium Apple Watch Ultra 2. While the brand is debuting its high-end Grade 5 titanium model, if the more robust and Apple-worthy treatment on this one is simply too pricey for you, all of the brand’s models are in fact quite fantastic.
While I have not yet actually gone hands-on with the new model, it features a nearly identical design and build as the model I do have. I absolutely love the way the connectors meet up against the sides of Apple Watch Ultra 2 and the sort of invisible double butterfly-like clasp on the underside is wonderful – it is entirely clean, leaving the band to appear as though it is all one piece but still easily come apart to put the watch on and off.
