Rare deal drops Twelve South’s metal and adjustable HiRise Pro MacBook stand to $80

Reg. $100 $80

We are now tracking a rare deal on Twelve South’s HiRise Pro for MacBooks and other laptops down at $79.95 shipped. Regularly $100, this is the latest pro-grade model from the brand that debuted last spring and rarely ever goes on sale. There have been some sitewide and holiday events over at Twelve South that brought the price down, but deals are generally hard to come by on this model and Amazon is now offering a straight-up 20% discount. Today’s deal marks the best Amazon price of the year and the lowest total we have tracked there since the metal stand’s debut last year.

Made from aluminum, the stand’s rear piston that extends from the base “easily adjusts the height of your MacBook or laptop up to 6 inches” while the v-shaped arm provides a sturdy and yet exposed landing pad for your MacBook – this design promotes air flow to and from the machine unlike something with a flat shelf- or tabletop-like design. You can even slide your own MagSafe puck neatly under the unit to transform the base of the stand into a magnetic wireless charging pad. Here’s our hands-on review

While we are talking Twelve South, be sure to scope out this deal on its clamshell mode-ready vertical MacBook stand, the BookArc. The original model is now seeing a solid 50% price drop, falling from $60 down to $30 with a free insert to support modern 15-inch MacBook Air models. Scope out the details right here

Twelve South HiRise Pro features:

  • Insert a MagSage charging disk (not included) under the leather base into a special chanel to MagSafe wirelessly charge your iPhone or AirPods without taking up extra space on your desk. The charging section is elevated to accomodate larger iPhone cameras that protrude from the back and allow them to lay completely flat to charge.
  • The entire surface of each arm is covered with a patterned silicone to hold and fully protect all size MacBook’s or laptops. To prevent accidental falls or slipping, the ends of the arms are upturned.
  • Rear piston easily adjusts the height of your MacBook or laptop up to 6 inches for improved ergonomics and reduced neck strain.
  • The arms help to keep your laptop base exposed to improve airflow and cooling, allowing for a quieter performance.
