We have seen a number of deals on the latest Google Nest Thermostat across 2024 as well as through the holidays in late 2023, but rarely does it ever drop below the $99 price you’ll find it on sale for at Amazon right now. However, this regularly $129 Matter-equipped smart thermostat has now been dropped down to $69.99 Prime shipped over at Woot. A $6 delivery fee will apply without a Prime membership. Only once in the last year have we seen this one go for less – it fell to $61 at Amazon for a couple days last October. But beyond that, and a few open-box or YMMV deals, today’s Woot Birthday price is the lowest we have tracked in well over a year.
While you won’t get the color selection with today’s Woot deal that you will elsewhere right now, the price on the Snow white/grey model easily the lowest price around at $70.
The Google Nest Thermostat certainly isn’t the newest in the smart thermostat game, but this is a Google-made piece of kit that was upgraded last spring with Matter support to play nice with the rest of your supported multi platform smart home gear.
Alongside the HomeKit, Google Home, Amazon Alexa, and Samsung SmartThings integration, it remains one of the more attractive on the market for me with the rounded form-factor and frosted glass atop the LED display. Get more details on the user experience in our hands-on review.
Then swing by our Google hub for for deals on the Pixel 8/Pro smartphones from $412 as well as our smart home hub for all of this week’s price drops.
