Following the release of the 2022 Optimus Prime kit, LEGO has now delivered on the Autobot action with thew 950-piece LEGO Icons theme Bumblebee. LEGO official unveils new Bumblebee Transformers set

The new LEGO Bumblebee kit will deliver on the transforming action, as one would expect, much like we saw with Optimus Prime previously. Morphing from a yellow Volkswagen Beetle-looking vehicle to the fast quipping and hilarious battle bot we know and love – okay so this is the classic rendition of the character but you know what I mean. It is directly inspired by the classic 1984 cartoon series.

There are plenty of details throughout the build, from the printed Transformer logo to the 1984 license plate when in car mode, bumper stickers, and the adorable bee tile in the windshield. The face on Bumblebee is also a printed element to deliver on the details here and LEGO says it has developed a new element to facilitate the transforming action as well.
