SANDMARC’s new metal waterproof iPhone Film Rig mount
The Film Rig 2.0 is described as a versatile mounting system for the latest iPhones. It allows you take full control of your Apple movie camera (handset) and the rest of your rig with a two-handed setup for a more comfortable shooting experience.
It is made of industrial aluminum while maintaining a lightweight and portable design that provides a much stabilized visual capture. This model is compatible with all of the brand’s lens attachments and does not require some kind of counter-weight to keep things stable when shooting on iPhone.
The completely waterproof mount is dive-ready and is made to support “a microphone, an audio interface, a tripod and a variety of different lights” – its swivel mount “ensures seamless compatibility with gimbals.” As a quick side note here, an SSD External Mount is coming soon (sold separately).
