Just after seeing a major Amazon all-time low on the more compact Galaxy Z Flip 5, we have now spotted an equally notable offer on the other current-generation foldable from the brand. Amazon is now offering unlocked Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 5 handsets down at $1,349.99 shipped in all three colorways. The regularly $1,800 256GB model is now 25% or $450 off the going rate. Still up at full price directly via Samsung, today’s offer is the best price we have tracked all year, coming within $50 of the lowest we have seen at Amazon – that was a limited offer during the Black Friday season last year. Hit the jump for a closer look at the details.
Now $50 under the price drop we spotted back in April, you’re looking at the latest version of Samsung’s flagship foldable. As detailed in our hands-on review, it unfolds to reveal a 7.6-inch display that joins the 6.2-inch cover screen to deliver on the unique experience only these sorts of handsets can. Samsung managed to upgrade the hinge this time around – something it very much intends on improving even further with future iterations – for cleaner dual app view, drag and drop media action, and so you can “shop two sites side by side or stream videos while checking your feed.”
Powered by way of a Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 chip, this is another one of the existing Samsung devices receiving the Galaxy AI treatment – “search like never before, get real-time interpretation on a call, format your notes into a clear summary, and effortlessly edit your photos.”
