Apple’s new MacBook Air gets first discount, iPad Pro $50 off (Tax only in select states)

MacMall is currently taking $50 off the latest MacBook Air models, with the entry-level configuration being discounted to $1,149 shipped. MacMall is currently quoting delivery in 10 days. With added tax benefits in some states, this is a nice way to grab Apple’s latest MacBook and offset some expenses until April. Today’s deal is also a match of Apple’s education pricing. This model sports a 1.6GHz Intel i5 processor, 128GB SSD, 8GB of RAM and two Thunderbolt 3 ports. Additional details can be found here in our event coverage.

The same $50 off deal is also being extended to the latest iPad Pros, which is a match of Apple’s .edu offer we told you about last week. You can grab the 11-inch Wi-Fi + Cellular 64GB model for $899 or the entry-level 12-inch Wi-Fi 64GB for $949. Both offers are the best price currently available. Learn more in our launch coverage.

Update 11/7 @ 2:00 PM: Costco is offering its members up to $50 off the latest iPad Pro. Prices start at $769.99 + $5 for shipping. Discount varies by model.
