Backcountry’s Touring Collection lets you hit the slopes with style & practicality

Backcountry's-Touring-Line

Backcountry is known for its high quality outdoor gear, and they recently launched a new line called The Touring Collection. It gets you ready for winter sports by featuring heavy duty jackets, skis, boots, and more. Backcountry used its top affiliates called Gearheads, who are highly knowledgeable with extensive experience in using such products, to make up The Touring Collection. (Gearheads also answer all of the daily questions that come into the Backcountry website.) Head below to find out more about Backcountry’s Touring Collection.

“Gearheads are the heart and soul of the Backcountry brand, so involving them was natural. They spend time using the products we recommend. They listen to our community. They know what works and what doesn’t work,” said Jonathan Nielsen, CEO of Backcountry. “And now, they help us translate their invaluable expertise into creating great products.”

To start, the Backcountry x DPS Nebo Alpine Touring Skis are a sharp, unique option for any skier. Designed by experts, these skis can accommodate nearly any weight or ability level and work well on both powder and ice. Their black and white coloring is sharp and the lightweight construction will help you feel like you’re flying down the slope. The Touring Skis will be used for years to come and feature a price tag of $1,120.

For women, the Backcountry x Flylow Pfeifferhorn Jacket was made to be lightweight and built with a breathable construction that allows you to sweat without freezing. The Gearheads collectively spent over 20 years in the Wasatch Mountains and came up with all the details that are necessary for the perfect winter jacket, including oversized storage pockets, a shell fabric that ensures full protection in wintery conditions, and an athletic fit for mobility when climbing up and down hills. This jacket is available in two color options and is priced at $430.

Finally, the men’s Wolverine Cirque Insulated Jacket comes with all of the bells and whistles. This is one of our favorite pieces from Backcountry’s Touring Collection. It was made to keep you comfortable throughout the day. Fleece paneling that’s moisture-wicking ensures breathability while its water-resistant shell keeps you dry all day. I also love its modern fit that resembles a bomber jacket and its two versatile color options. This jacket is priced at $230.
