Use your tap-to-pay cards w/o taking them out of WaterField’s new Leather VIA Wallet

No matter how convenient it might be to use an iPhone case that can carry your bank cards and the like, I personally still prefer to carry a super slim case and a separate wallet. The folks at WaterField have been creating wonderful hand-made accessories for Apple gear for years now, but today it is unveiling the new VIA Leather Billfold Wallet.

The last we heard from WaterField was with the new Atlas Executive duffle, CitySlicker case for Nintendo Switch, and the Ranger iPhone X holster. All three of which continued the company’s tradition to use high-quality materials, and the new VIA Billfold wallet is no exception.

Once again WaterField has taken a more universal approach to the overall look here. According to the company, it is designed to look great when paired with a more casual outfit as much it is for a suit or something of that nature.

The premium full-grain leather wallet features “subtle, raw edges” that will, as per usual with WaterField’s gear, develop a natural patina over time. It sports more than enough storage for your cash as well as 4 separate card compartments (up to 8 cards). While frequently used cards can stay up front, WaterField says “commuter cards, tap-to-pay and keyless entry cards” carried in the back of the wallet can still be scanned without even removing them. Clearly that is a nice touch and can be really convenient for someone jumping on the train every morning for work.

The new WaterField VIA Leather Billfold Wallet is available for pre-order today at $59 with a February 8th shipping date. It comes in three colorways: gray leather with grizzly interior accents, grizzly leather with black guts and black leather with a red interior.

It joins the rest of the WaterField lineup of leather wallets including the Finn Access zippered options and the Suede Jacket iPhone case wallet, among others.
