There’s nothing more annoying than being at a backyard BBQ or any other outdoor get together and being attacked by mosquitos. Sure, you can spray yourself down with chemical repellants, but there has to be a better and easier way to get rid of these pests. An Indiegogo funded device called Radius is changing the way we deal with mosquitos all together with a newly developed zone repellant.
Radius is the first rechargeable EPA-approved device to actually repel mosquitos. It is also compact and pretty powerful. The little device creates a zone of protection of 110 feet so you can once again enjoy the outdoors without being bitten by mosquitoes.
The way it works is pretty simple. You just turn it on and Radius will heat up an airborne repellant that will send away mosquitos away in minutes. The repellant is even scent free and non-toxic for the environment. The fully rechargeable battery and repellant cartridge can reportedly last for up to 40 hours and it’s portable so it can be taken with you wherever you go. So no more toxic chemical sprays on your skin to get rid of mosquitos.
Inside the Radius there’s a tiny lithium-ion battery that powers a heating element that quietly activates the repellent. Once it gets going, the repellent will create an invisible zone of protection that keeps mosquitoes from entering into your outdoor party or get together. Plus, it works continuously to maintain this zone of protection around your outdoor living space.

Creating a Zone of Protection with Radius couldn’t be easier. You simply insert the repellent cartridge, close the cover and turn it on. It’s push-button simple. Turn it on, and mosquitos are gone! Take back the outdoors!
The key breakthrough behind the effectiveness of Radius is the repellent formula that’s used to keep the mosquitos away. It is EPA-approved pyrethroid and it is based on a naturally occurring repellant found in the chrysanthemum flower. This repellant has been used to fight insects for a very long time. It can even be dated back to ancient Egyptian times.
If you would like to try Radius at your next outdoor event, you can pledge $40 or more on the Indiegogo campaign, that’s $10 off the expected retail value of the device. If all goes as planned, shipping to backers will start in March of this year.
