As you must already know, it’s iPhone week. Apple is scheduled to unveil its latest generation smartphone tomorrow morning. We already caught wind of what we believe to be the names and some details on the new iPhone 8/Plus and X. It is only a matter of hours now before the internet gets flooded with new accessories, cases and covers for Apple’s latest iPhone iteration, but we have one special option to focus on at the moment.
Ever wanted to spend over $69,000 for an iPhone? Me either, but the new Brikk Lux iPhone X Collection is certainly something to behold.
Brikk is well known for its precious metal covered Apple gear and the astronomical prices than come along with them. That diamond-studded Apple Watch version from a couple years ago that started at over $109,000 is a prime example.
The new collections is split into several categories with multiple versions in each: the Lux iPhone X Collection, X Mono, Classic, Deluxe, Haute and the inanely priced X Ingot. All models are designed around the upcoming 5.8-inch, 512GB iPhones.
Lux iPhone X is available in 24-carat yellow gold, 18-carat rose gold and “pure” platinum. Buyers will have the option to upgrade to one of many premium versions of the Lux iPhone X in either gold or platinum and covered in up to 12 carats of white diamonds.
The X Mono Collection is at the bottom of the lineup with an “original” glass back and sides coated in precious metal. Whereas the Lux iPhone X Classic Collection is completely covered in gold or platinum with an engraved Heptagon pattern. And you can take it up another notch before getting into the really crazy options with one of three diamond studded (0.60 carats to 4.00 carats) Deluxe models.
Starting at a whopping $49,995, the Lux iPhone X Haute Collection features 12 carats of diamonds and is offered in a slew of exotic metals and materials: meteorite, red beryl, jade, emerald and ruby.
And lastly, but certainly not least, the Lux iPhone X Ingot comes in two models: stupid and stupider. Otherwise known as the 108 with 108 grams of gold and the 250 with 250 grams of gold. Raising up to as much as $69,995, you can buy a new car or maybe put a down payment on a condo, or buy a Lux iPhone X Ingot, your call.
Don’t worry though, every model comes with a diamond-embedded certificate of authenticity and a 1-year global Brikk warranty.
While I wouldn’t recommend anyone buys one of these, even if you have way too much money to spend, Brikk is donating some of the profits to a good cause here. According to the press release, 7% of your purchase price goes directly to hurricane relief efforts in the USA.
The new Lux iPhone X Collections will be made available this November. In the meantime, stay locked to 9to5 all week long for all the up to date news from Apple’s iPhone event tomorrow.
