iTunes has launched a new $5 Digital HD movie sale focused on iTunes Extras titles that include behind-the-scenes footage and other goodies. Amazon is price matching a number of these movies (minus the iTunes-exclusive content). The majority of these films typically sell for around $10-$20 and each one will become a permanent addition to your library.

Here are our top picks:

When you buy the HD version of a movie with iTunes Extras, you get special features along with your movie. The special features might include photo galleries, deleted scenes, exclusive interviews, or behind-the-scenes footage. Special features vary by title. If you’ve bought an HD movie that includes iTunes Extras, you can watch them on your iPhone, iPad, iPod touch, Mac, PC, or Apple TV. On your Apple TV, select Movies, then select the movie that you want to watch. On the movie’s product page, select Play. If the movie has Extras, you’ll see a new screen with the option to watch the Extras.
