Felt’s Tote’m eBike takes to the streets with a slimmed down frame and Shimano components

The Felt Tote’m Electric Bike reimagines the classic two-wheel design with a shorter stance and a unique pedal-assist system that was created in partnership with industry veteran Shimano. There are a number of subtle adjustments that have been made with eyes on a better ride. Felt’s latest creation is a full-featured eBike with a number of extra bells and whistles. The attention to detail here is top-notch.

It starts with a rust-orange aluminum frame that has nearly every wire hidden where possible. The built-in 350W power supply system can push speeds up to 20MPH, even when the cargo system is loaded down. Felt’s decision to go with a shorter wheelbase influences a number of different components on this ride. The main focus was to cut down on bulk and create a more nimble feel, avoiding the bulkiness that has plagued some eBikes. Felt’s Tote’m eBike is available for purchase today from authorized retailers in the US for $3,999.

With it’s dual rack system, the Tote’m is the ultimate ebike for carrying all your gear. Its durable frame can handle all of your cargo, whether you’re bringing home groceries, making deliveries around town or transporting weekend party supplies. Its short wheelbase gives the Tote’m unprecedented steering control, making it agile enough for navigating city streets and back roads alike, and the Shimano STePS pedal-assist electric motor offers incredible range, battery life and efficiency.
