ECOXGEAR’s new rugged Bluetooth speakers and power banks are waterproof and solar powered

ECOXGEAR, purveyors of rugged outdoor audio gear and power supplies, has announced three new additions to its line of accessories. These products “are made to take a beating” with pressure release valves for high altitudes, shock absorbing designs, and built-in floatation IPX7 waterproof certification.

Today’s announcement brings a new speaker, power bank and lipstick style battery pack that are both solar powered and “ultra rugged”. Head below for full details on these new products.

First up is the EcoPebble power bank with a built-in 10,000mAh battery. In addition to providing a power source for your iPhone, tablets and other gear, it has a built-in 2-inch speaker driver. When fully charged, it is capable of pumping out “50 hours of playtime”. It has a built-in flashlight for dark adventures and is IPX67 rated plus “fully shock resistant”. The EcoPebble will go on sale come September for $100.

Although there aren’t many details at this time, the most intriguing addition to the ECOXGEAR lineup is the SOL JAM Bluetooth speaker. It is the “industry’s first” IPX67 waterproof portable Bluetooth speaker that is powered by integrated HD solar panels. If you’re an avid beachgoer or boater, this is a very interesting option that’s worth keeping an eye on later this fall when it launches for $150.

ECOXGEAR also announced the EcoCarbon combination Bluetooth speaker and power bank. This new option floats face-up in the water to keep the music playing in all types of situations, whether at the pool or in the lake. It is capable of powering your devices via its built-in battery while also playing music for up to twelve hours at a time. ECOXGEAR also has an LED battery meter and flashlight integrated into the design. The EcoCarbon will be available in September with a $130 price tag.

A small power bank also is making an appearance today: the Pebble Powerbank comes with 2,600mAh of power and a waterproof rugged design. At $20, it’s a potential option for those that beat up on their power banks.
