Control Siri, iTunes and your iPhone’s camera from afar w/ Satechi’s Bluetooth buttons

Technology has created a much more accessible world, with nearly everything right at our fingertips. The thing is, sometimes we still just want easier access to a button, switch or that USB port in the back of your computer. Satechi has set out to solve this problem with three Bluetooth-enabled buttons meant to interact with a myriad of devices.

The BT Button Series is a trilogy of stick-on thin circles that pair with a device via Bluetooth and enables the user to complete certain tasks. They come in a slim circle design with an aluminum metal outer edge and are compatible with iOS devices and Android OS 4.4.4 or later. From selfies to Siri, these products have an eye for making digital life just a touch more accessible – head below to find out how.

These new buttons from Satechi really are pretty slick looking, we saw them at CES this year and thought they had potential in a few different areas. Starting with the $24.99 BT Shutter Button, which is appropriately a single button with a camera in the center. This button aims to take the awkwardness out of holding your phone or sprinting back for the group picture. After pairing with a device it will automatically take a picture when pressed.

The BT Media Button likely offers the greatest potential for use, we can imagine a number of different scenarios where this one would be handy. It has a play/pause button as well as skip forward/backward and volume up/down. This could easily be attached to a dashboard in the car if the steering wheel lacks media controls, mounted on the bar so your staff can change songs or to a desk to control iTunes with a physical button. The Media Button is available at a slight up charge from the others at $29.99.

Finally, we’ve got the BT Home Button which serves as a wireless Siri access point or simply brings your device back to its main screen. Another potential automobile add-on for eyes-free access to Siri while your on the road, this model could also control music via voice commands and aid in responding to text messages. The Home Button retails for $24.99.

All models are currently available from Amazon.
