Game/App Deals: Amazon end of summer sale up to 80% off, Cut The Rope: FREE, more

In today’s best game deals, Amazon has kicked off a huge end of summer sale and Cut the Rope goes FREE, along with the rest of today’s iOS freebies. The wait is finally over for Mac gamers, Sim City and the year’s highest rated title Bioshock infinite, both dropped today.

Amazon has launched its end of the Summer digital games sale, running from now until September 8. There are a ton of quality discounted digital games available like XCOM: Enemy Unknown + Elite Solider DLC + Slingshot DLC ($10) Dark Souls ($7.50) and the Walking Dead bundle ($10). On top of some $5 (or less) games and a few solid bundles, you can grab a bunch of titles at 80% off as well, like Tom Clancy’s Ghost Recon and Sonic Generations. Not to mention some excellent deals on Indie titles like Super Meat Boy ($3.75) and Chivalry: Medieval Warfare ($8.50).

Amazon Digital Games Last Summer Deals + Free-To-Play Frenzy: Up to 80% off

The Microsoft Store has Mass Effect 3 on Xbox 360 for $8 with free shipping right now as well. This is $32 off the regular listing, half the price Amazon is charging and the current lowest price we can find.

In other game deals, Chillingo has dropped the price of its popular Cut The Rope game to FREE today. The app has garnered over 32,000, 5 star ratings on iTunes and is available for iPhone and iPad at the discounted rate from now until Sept 5.
