SquareTrade offers its SquareTrade 2-Year Warranty for new iPad or iPad 2 for $89.99. Coupon code “40ipad3” cuts it to $79.99. That’s $19 under what Apple charges for two years of AppleCare. (We saw a 2-year iPad 2 warranty for $10 less from SquareTrade last summer; however, it’s the cheapest extended warranty we’ve seen for the new iPad.) Unlike AppleCare, SquareTrade’s extended warranty also includes drop and spill protection.

Meanwhile, a 3-year warranty is available for $119 before the above coupon, $109 after.
