MegaMacs offers the used Apple iMac Intel Core 2 Extreme 2.8GHz 24″ Desktop, model no. MA878LL/A, for $979.99 plus around $40 for shipping. That’s tied with our mention from last week as the lowest total price we could find for this configuration. (We listed it in August with a smaller hard drive for $20 more.) Features include an Intel Core 2 Extreme X7900 2.8GHz dual-core processor, 24″ 1920×1200 widescreen LCD, 4GB RAM, 500GB hard drive, dual-layer DVD burner, Radeon HD 2600 PRO 256MB video card, Airport Extreme (802.11n wireless), Bluetooth, iSight webcam, and more.

Of note, MegaMacs also offers the used Apple iMac Intel Core 2 Extreme 2.8GHz 24″ Desktop, model no. MA878LL/A, for $829.99 plus around $37 for shipping. That’s also tied with last week’s mention as the lowest total price we could find for this configuration. It’s the same system as above; however, it features only 2GB of RAM and a 320GB hard drive.

A 30-day MegaMacs warranty applies to each configuration. Also, an OS is installed on these systems, but it’s unclear which OS it is. Note that the first system shows an expiration date of October 19; however, you can still purchase it at this price.
