Super Hexagon is the latest iOS game to be made available for free inside the Apple Store App. Typically selling for either $0.99 or $2.99 (current price), this is the first time we’ve seen this “minimal action game” available at no cost. It was a runner up for App Store Game of the Year and has garnered an impressive 4.5 out of 5 star rating from 8,700 App Store reviewers.
The only way you’ll be able to access this freebie is by going through the Apple Store App. Complete download instructions are as follows:
Here’s how you can claim your free Super Hexagon download:
- Install the Apple Store App for iOS
- Open the Apple Store App on your iPhone
- Tap on the ‘Stores’ button at the bottom of the screen
- Swipe right twice on the image below the ‘One to One’ button
- Tap the Super Hexagon image that says ‘Fast, action-packed fun.’
- Tap the ‘Download now for free’ green button and follow the on-screen directions
*note: also works with the Apple Store App on iPad, but the ‘stores’ button is at the top of the screen and the Super Hexagon promo is presented without having to swipe.

I was able to redeem it the other day… Downloaded it, played it for like 30 sec. & promptly deleted it. Was not impressed with it at all. You’re not missing out on much!!
